COVID-19 Coronavirus Update

We love our Salty guests and team crew. The health, safety, and wellbeing of our staff, customers and community is our number one priority. Salt Life Food Shack has always maintained the highest standards for cleanliness and sanitation and will continue this with vigilance. Below are the additional action plans we are performing at this time to help ensure the safety of our guests and team members. In addition to these precautions, we are also offering multiple options to dine with the Shack to accommodate all of our Salty fans: DINE IN, CURBSIDE PICK UP and DELIVERY.

Thank you again for your understanding and continued patronage during this time! If you have any questions or concerns about our policies, please do not hesitate to ask to speak with a manager at your neighborhood Shack.

We want you each to stay safe, smart and Salty at heart.

The hospitality industry is the single largest employer in our country. Unfortunately, given this statistic, the likelihood of a positive case taking place at any given restaurant is all but certain (or inevitable) in the current environment. That is neither a direct reflection of the restaurant or the employee. But rather the nature of an extremely contagious virus that has found its way into the depths of all industries, homes and communities alike. How we work to prevent and respond to each potential case is how we differentiate ourselves. That is where we are steadfast in our efforts to identify, isolate and trace each case if and when they may arise. With any positive cases, we will provide all staff with testing options, ensure any positive employee receives two weeks paid leave and provide said employee with their held position upon obtaining a negative test. It is noteworthy that we perform deep cleaning/sanitizing foggers EACH night after closing for everyone’s continued safety. This is intended to be both preventative and responsive in nature.

While we will not share personal health information of any employee or guest, we will always act responsibly in the interest of all our employees and our valued guests. We are family. We are in this together. That is why we are taking all the necessary steps to keep ALL our families as safe as possible. We will continue to monitor the situation and add or modify precautions as more information and guidance becomes available.

Please know our hearts are with each family, neighbor, small business and community member that is affected by this pandemic. In a world that currently calls for understandable measures of distance, coming together in unity is more important now than ever before.  And while we can’t be all things to all people, we do want to be empathetic to ALL people and their unique concerns. Our hope is that we each find it on our hearts to give one other the benefit of the doubt. That we would be our brother’s keeper. That we would all be kind, cautious and forgiving in the days and months to come. We are 100% POSITIVE that we are capable.
